If you are NOT playing in the tournament, how would you like to help out? We need a few volunteers for the following tasks:
- Deliver food and beverages to fields Saturday and Sunday morning
- Prep fields between games
- Be a Field Director at SDSU or Southwestern College. This job requires a 3-day commitment. Job is to assume responsibility for everything that occurs on the field. Be tournament ambassador, supervise food serving and field prep if needed, report scores, settle protests, pay umpires.
We’re looking for volunteers who want to “give back” to the local baseball community but can entertain a stipend for some of the tasks. C’mon help the local managers out; for any slot we don’t fill we need to lean on them. If interested, please contact Jim Teeter by e-mail at TeeterJS@aol.com or by phone at 858-999-5141.
Thank you.
