NCMABL All Stars defeated the PBLSD All Stars 13-2

The NCMABL won the Inaugural All Star game by the score of 13-2.  The NCMABL All Stars were led offensively by SD Toreros Vita Resendiz who went 2-for-2, with a RBI and a run scored. NC Spades Chris Smiley went 2-for-3, with a RBI and 2 runs scored.  On the mound the NCMSBL squad was led by SM Black Sox pitcher Chris Skaalen who pitched 2 scoreless innings striking out 3 batters and also going 1-for-1 at the plate with a run scored.  So Cal Shocker Anthony Novello pitched a scoreless inning striking out 3 batters.  TC Devils Kyle Anderson also pitched a scoreless inning while striking out 2 batters.  On the base paths, JYD Bar & Grill Travis Iiyama had 3 stolen bases.  The game MVP went to SD knights Ryan Martin who went 2-for-2 with a single and double, 1BB, 2 RBI’s, 2 runs scored and a stolen base.  The North County MABL All Stars were managed by San Diego Knights manager Britton Scheibe.  Great Job guys!!!!!


I would also like to thank PBLSD President Benn Bruff, the PBLSD All Stars and their fans for an enjoyable night of baseball.  We look forward to the Second Annual All Star game next year.  I would like to time to thank the support staff:  TC Devils Manager Chris Mitchell, Clippers Manager Mike Nerhu, Aztec Manager Gil Rodriquez and Matt Hultberg from the Devils for handling the announcing, scorekeeping and working the scoreboard.
